7-Zip is a file archiver with a high compression ratio. 7-Zip works in Windows 11 / 10 / 8 / 7 / Vista / XP / 2022 / 2019 / 2016 / 2012 / 2008 / 2003 / 2000.
You can use 7-Zip on any computer, including a computer in a commercial organization. You don't need to register or pay for 7-Zip. And there is command line version for Linux and macOS. Most of the source code is under the GNU LGPL license. The unRAR code is under a mixed license with GNU LGPL + unRAR restrictions. Check the license for details.

I like it on several features, but dislike with relation to it can't uncompress tow or more compacted files at same time.

Works as a stand-alone file manager but the lack of windows file explorer shell integration in 64-bit systems is a real hindrance.

It appears to be a good tool but I am seeing unusual results in the files when decompressing lz4 files. On CSV files I am seeing string ,NULL, rather then ,, when there are no values and I am also seeing numbers in scientific notation rather than just numeric. I am comparing with an file decompressed using Python-Lz4 module.
