    The language is stuck in french and won't change, an error message keeps popping up.

    Hi, it would be great if you could create a ticket here on the sourceforge trackers for your issue, including more information. Are you on MacOS? What do you mean by "stuck", etc. etc. Thanks.

    I don't know why, but "add" command (via script or menu) does not work, when adding variable to the model (in order to get F change). I have panel data model clustered by firms and I get info that "requested statistics is not available".

    Hello! I have a question regarding WLS method for panel data. Could you please help me to understand whether I could use the coefficients of WLS model in order to interpret original data? Or it will be incorrect, because these coefficients relate to the weighted data? Thank you.

    MacOS Catalina indeed adds new and more barriers, but some fixes and workarounds have been applied. Please see http://gretl.sourceforge.net/osx.html for more information. If your problem persists, open a new ticket on the gretl bug tracker (here on sourceforge) or contact the mailing list. Thanks.

    Great package for statistics, econometrics and data science tasks. Intuitive scripting language covering (almost) all aspects needed! Excellent control via the GUI if needed. Great manual(s) and support by the community!

    Good,.... but where is support of different input text file format??? Like: -1.00000000e-02 -8.31732036e+00 -9.90000000e-03 -8.31688757e+00 -9.80000000e-03 -8.31644855e+00 ... I just need to see graph and all. Looks like import this file is not easy.

    Please add Greek & more languages!!! It could have an option to download Language Packs from the website!....... It needs a better design (for new Windows)

    Not sure what you mean, we have translators for Greek and users who use gretl in Greek. If somehow it isn't working for you please send a message to the mailing list.

    I just started using Gretl although I have been doing Statistics for more than 10 years. It is quite amazing to see such a small program can perform 90% of the things that you do with commercial software packages. Gretl is easy to use and occupies a tiny working space compared to other commercial statistics packages. It takes sometime to get used to it, but once you get used to it you just feel that you do Not need anything else to do statistics.

    You want to conduct serious statistic and econometric analysis? Forget STATA, use Gretl! Fantastic software which is so intuitive to use. Beginners use the excellent GUI while others use the cli or the matrix-based programming language "hansl".

    I have used this program for and it is great. It is good to have apps available when the computer you are working on doesn't have that type of app installed.
