Note July, 2023: THIS IS OLD ARCHIVAL MATERIAL If you're looking for MPI downloads for Mac, please see https://sourceforge.net/projects/gretl/files/mpi/ * gretl-osx-howto.pdf: explanation of one way of building gretl on Mac OS X (>= version 9.0). This relies on the Command Line Tools from Apple's Xcode and the Framework in gretl-dev.framework.dmg. It does not require a third-party package manager such as MacPorts or Homebrew. SOMEWHAT DATED. * gretl-dev.framework.dmg: compressed disk image with a Framework which includes all the dependencies for a gretl build apart from those provided natively by OS X. THIS IS OUT OF DATE! * build-framework.tar.gz: small package with scripts to build a gretl-dev framework yourself on OS X, if you're so inclined. Documented in the final section of gretl-osx-howto.pdf. DATES FROM June 2020.
