Summary: the correct youtube URL pasted into the command prompt window at Enter URL always starts a Getting of the flv file, followed by a Failed, with no error code. Ideas: I think it's only the Get that fails. I allowed Perl access through the Windows Firewall, no effect. Without an error code it is not possible for the user to make it work. Your help greatly appreciated! Stefaan Meeuws ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Details: I start a command prompt in the grabyoutube downloaded tree at: "\grabyoutube-v1.0.7\win32>" where I enter GrabYOUTUBE.bat. I get a prompt to enter a URL. I open up a web page using my account. I pick any movie to start. I now need to paste that movie URL to the URL prompt. I have tried 2 ways: 1) right-click on the movie and click Copy video URL 1a) in the command prompt window I paste this. 1b) the results: Enter URL Queueing [1] _I Getting [1] Full-contact_RC_combat_-_YouTube_g4ZsNVlQa_I.flv ... Failed [1] Full-contact_RC_combat_-_YouTube_g4ZsNVlQa_I.flv [and need to control-c to quit batch processing] 2) in youtube, click share this video 2a) copy the URL shown 2b) paste in command prompt window 2c) the results: Enter URL Queueing [1] Getting [1] Full-contact_RC_combat_-_YouTube_.flv ... Failed [1] Full-contact_RC_combat_-_YouTube_.flv [and need to control-c to quit batch processing]
