Network Control Plane is the component of the GEYSERS architecture responsible for the automatic, seamless and one-step setup of IT & networks resources through GMPLS extended protocols and engines; and the Network+IT Provisioning Service (NIPS), which includes all the specific transactions among the application layer, the NCP and the logical layer to instantiate the distributed IT service.
