Tried to connect to LDAP, but the password of our LDAP-connect user has special characters in it. And gestioip does not allow this.

totaly happy with this tool because it save so much time and make's our work so much easier :-) Also the support from Marc is perfect

Has a lot of features, but the GET API (which you only get with premium) is pretty barebones and outdated. It recently got a cool new interface. The installation process is a bash script with 3670 lines which you have to run as root. That's unacceptable in today's IT world. Fits with the code hosting on SF though. The code itself is a mishmash of obfuscated Perl and Spanish comments. The end users like it. Admins and devs hate it.

Full IPv4/IPv6 support and 100% web based management make it outstanding.

This is easy to install. All the dependancies are in the install script. Does exactly what I it is for

Great tool. We just started using it. The installation was very straight forward using the provided sh script. The setup was easy too using the network discovery options. Also has the ability to scan subnets using SNMP and DNS/Ping to populate the database with host information or import data from CSV. I am very familiar with Perl, so having the Perl CLI tools in addition to the web interface is a plus for me. Plus custom columns and network/device categories helps keep the network organized. What more do you need in an IPAM System?

Currently managing over 500 networks with this tool. It is excellent.

Got a request for this from our network team, but as a sysadmin I find the following items lacking: - No access to old releases - the 3.0 tarball keeps changing - No support for PostgreSQL - I really don't want to maintain one more database just for this software. - Installation process is not admin-friendly. - No support for FastCGI - mod_perl should really be considered obsolete in favor of fastcgi already

Looks good. Needs a little screen cleanup but otherwise does everything I want.

Good tool. Fine Ipv6 support. Some bugs on ES and CAT translations.

Great tool, just needs a couple of small additions: 1. IPv^ 2. Reports showing new/unknown IPs

Really great ip management tool, it will become perfect with IPv6 support
