GeoIP2

GeoIP2-CN is an open-source geographic IP address database optimized for identifying connections associated with mainland China. It provides a compact alternative to global GeoIP databases commonly used by proxy management applications. The project combines Chinese IP address information from IPIP.net and the Chunzhen database. Its build process merges overlapping records, removes duplicates, and generates a streamlined GeoIP2 database. The resulting file is approximately 100 KB, reducing download sizes and lookup overhead. Users can integrate it with Surge, Quantumult X, Shadowrocket, Clash, and related networking tools. An additional CIDR list supports firewall configurations and older proxy clients. Automated workflows refresh the database every three days and distribute updated files through GitHub and CDN links.
