This directory contains sample applications for Geant4 modeling of vacuum transport in the molecular flow regime.  The techniques are discussed in Singal et al. (arXiv:1302.2963).  The .zip folders contain all necessary .c and .h files for the particular application, and need to be properly built on a system with the Geant4 simulation toolkit installed.

SIMPLE PIPE VACUUM TRANSPORT (cavity.zip):  This is an application for the Geant4 toolkit to simulate vacuum transport in a simple pipe section.  It functions as a proof-of-concept for using Geant4 to simulate vacuum transport.  Documentation will be provided in a forthcoming paper.

BEAM PIPE VACUUM TRANSPORT (BeamCavity.zip):  This is an application for the Geant4 toolkit to simulate vacuum transport in a section of accelerator beam pipe with cavities.  

LSST CAMERA CRYOSTAT VACUUM TRANSPORT (Cryostat1.zip):  This is an application for the Geant4 toolkit to simulate vacuum transport in the LSST camera cryostat.  Several different modified geometries are available and one must be selected in cryostat.cpp by choosing one particular C1DetectorConstruction.
