GDPuTTY

GDPuTTY is a modern terminal and connection client inspired by PuTTY, but fully rebuilt in Python and web technologies. It keeps PuTTY's compatibility handling for legacy SSH hardware (16 SSH bug flags, F-key encoding, serial quirks), with a modern interface rendered by xterm.js inside an embedded browser.
Key features: native paramiko SSH with no putty.exe dependency; xterm.js rendering with full UTF-8, CJK, emoji and true color; direct Win32 serial ports with CH340/ESP reset handling; multi-protocol support (SSH 1/2, Telnet, Raw, Rlogin, SUPDUP, RFC 2217 serial, local ConPTY shell); built-in ESP32/ESP8266 firmware flashing; an optional Claude AI assistant via the Claude Code CLI; one-click import of existing PuTTY sessions; and a bilingual English / Traditional Chinese interface. Runs on Windows 10 / 11 (x64).
