Works great in WIndows 10. Although I've had the GT10B for years, I'd never really got to grips with any of the features. I had just spent a few days programming patches and controls from the unit's interface - a struggle at first but now I think I get how it works 'under the hood'. Now I've got the full graphical works on the PC and can back everything up and I can do some sensible editing/tweaking of patches - brilliant. Thanks for your effort in developing and supporting. Incidentally, in Windows, you can connect via USB but give it time for the Boss drivers to download and install or you'll be wondering why it won't connect. Check the help page for the essential stuff about setting USB options on the unit.

Won't run under Mac OS X 10.7.5 -- previous version would, but now I have v2.03 firmware on my GT-100.

Hi tiggerfish, As operating systems progress forwards the minimum operating system spec also increments up. In the Archive folder are previous versions if you wish to use an older or no longer supported operating system. I hope it is now working for you :)

Works perfectly with my 50 mk2 under Fedora 40. Really happy to be able to use my Katana with linux, rather than having to muck around with Wine or run a Windows VM.

Hi, I installed GT-6Fx Floorboard on my laptop and connected my Boss GT-6 to it with the Midimate II (USB 2.0 MIDI Interface). My laptop recognizes the Midimate II, however the GT-6Fx Floorboard app doesn't retain the setting when I select MIDIMATE II in the menu Tools - Preferences - Midi Settings. Does anyone know why the setting is not retained? Kind regards, TrippinT

In some cases the program may need to be launched "As Administrator" to allow preference settings to be saved/written to disk.

This works great on my M1 Mac running 13.2.1, and is a great alternative to Boss Tone Studio which was unable to connect to the GT-1 on the M1 Mac and also would hang. BTS did work for me on another Intel Mac. FX Floorboard is pretty easy to use and adds some functionality over BTS as well.

Nice work. I am not sure that Roland/Boss appreciates that by creating this app you are helping with their Katana sales. I would not have bought my Katana MkII 100 if this software did not exist!

This app help me a lot to program my Behringer fcb1010 with OnU2 fireware to send SysEx data on BOSS GT-1 via DOREMIDI UMH-21 .

This app so very cool. I love that it exposes the sneaky amps and adds more versatility to the Katana amps. This is a great app and being that it is offered for Mac, Linux, and Windows...score!

Great app, do more than the original one from "R...." Patch loader is the best thing for me ! Using it with Katana 100.

Brought my GT-5 back from the dead, at least for a little bit! Great tool, just make sure you're installing to the right OS. OS X 10.7 - 10.9 (64-bit) or (I believe) win 7-10. I'm running on a VMWare virtualized win10 on Mac OS 10.12 and it works, if a bit unstable. Given the age of the equipment and the tool, the fact that this guy is still supporting it AND will respond to your emails merits five stars and a donation. Pay the man!

10.11.2015 - Why is ad.peak malware now part of this install? Like the software but can't use when installs malware. Also found in the ME-25 floorboard software as below. Hi billq, all the software on this site is scanned for malware and viruses, so it may be possible your A.V. is reporting a false positive ?

Fantastic job done. I use this program since GT-8 times, now switched over to GT-100. Still in beta, but works fine!

I have been using Floorboard with my GT10 - what a pleasure but recently I have upgrade to a GT100. Installed USB driver and checked all settings on GT100. Windows shows that driver is working and I can see the GT100 under devices. When the GT100 starts up it also shows that the USB connection is activated. Problem is that when I want to setup Floorboard the GT100 does not appear under options to select midi device - Any suggestions there?
