This is the latest stable version of FUDforum. All users running version 3.x.x are strongly advised to upgrade to this release as soon as possible.

Requirements

The minimum requirements to run FUDforum 3.2.1 are:

  • PHP 7.4 or higher (PHP 8 is recommended).
  • MySQL/MariaDB 5.7 or higher, or one of the other supported databases such as SQLite, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.

What's Changed

  • Improved bot protection by preventing automated crawling of malicious links.
  • Performance improvement: unconfirmed user cleanup task now runs once per day.
  • Implemented unbuffered query support for the MySQLi driver.
  • Fixed multiple PHP 8.x compatibility issues and warnings.
  • Fixed an issue where Google OAuth rejects return URLs starting with //.
  • Fixed undefined variable $WWW_ROOT in version 3.2.0 (Issue [#47]).
  • Updated jQuery charts in the administration control panel.
  • Updated jQuery from v3.7.1 to v4.0.0.
  • Updated jQuery UI from v1.14.1 to v1.14.2.
  • Updated FPDF from version 1.86 to version 1.9.

Localization

  • Added support for Moldovan (молдовеняскэ).
  • Added support for Piedmontese (Piemontèis).
  • Included the latest localization updates from http://translatewiki.net.
