Setup and Installation instructions * Download the Zipped folder from https://sourceforge.net/projects/freescore/ * Move the zipped folder from your downloads to a convenient location you will access this from. * Right click on the folder icon, and select “Extract all”. Use the pop-up to extract it. * Find the new unzipped folder called “FreeScore Basketball Scoreboard” * Double click on the “FreeScore Basketball Scoreboard” app to run it. Windows Protection Pop up * The first time that you try to open this, you might get a pop up from your computer stating “Windows protected your PC”. This is just because Windows recognized it as a downloaded file and is automatically suspicious. * Click on the “More Info” link. This will open up an additional option that allows you to “Run Anyway”. Click on that and the software will launch. You should not need to go through this process the next time you open the software. Important Note: You do need to keep this folder INTACT, with all the subfolders that contain the actual program. If you remove or rearrange parts, it will not work. You can create a desktop shortcut to this app but don't move it outside of the folder. If you would like you can also right-click the “-internal” Bolder, go to properties, and set it as hidden. Make sure that you apply changes to “This folder only” not to the folder, subfolders, and files.
