A feed parser allows the user to control fully the parsing process, in a streaming way: The user enters a buffer of raw, incomplete XML data and gets in turn a collection of parsed XML events. This iteration is repeated at the user's request. So, he decides when to stop.
This allows the user to parse a small part of the XML (without reaching the end), or pre-process it before delivering it to a full validating parser.
