FOSS User Project is a not-for-profit main stream initiative in Sri Lanka since 2009 to promote and develop Free and Open Source Software. The project hosts three main sub-projects.
FOSS User Magazine (ISSN 2012-7650) - The first and the only FOSS related magazine in Sri Lanka. The main objective is to promote the use and contribution to Free and Open Source Software.
FOSS User Research - This project promotes FOSS related developments and enables individuals to join with and contribute to the FOSS projects and their developments.
FOSS User Academia - This projects hosts workshops, seminars, events for the public to make the public aware of the Free and Open Source Software.
