This half way finsihed project is a rigid body simulation without constraints and has its own algorithm to calculate the forces which act on the plane. It was the practical part of my gymnasium thesis. Documentation can be downloaded (german).
Features
- Simulates planes described by wings, propulsion and mass objects from a simple xml file.
- Flexible plane visualisation system using python scripts. Manipulate 3d objects / draw on texture depending on simulation values.
- Record and play a flight. It saves position, orientation, forces and other values. Playback does just a normal simulation using the input values from the recording.
- Contains code from OGRE and plugins: ETM, Caelum, MyGUI, forests, ogreFTGL (not used afaik)
