# X11 TV Overscan Fixer Slider (v1.2)

An automated graphical slider utility designed to easily fix television overscan borders on Linux systems using the X11 display server.

This tool is optimized for setups where open-source graphics drivers no longer provide native overscan/underscan percentage configuration settings within the desktop display menus.

### 💾 Quick Installation
Download the pre-compiled `tv-overscan-fixer.deb` file. Double-click to open it with your graphical package installer (like Gdebi), click **Install Package**, and launch "TV Overscan Fine-Tuner" from your system application menu.

Features

  • Supported OS: Linux Mint (all flavors), Ubuntu, Debian, MX Linux, Pop!_OS, etc.
  • Display Server: X11 only (Will not work natively on Wayland).
  • Hardware Setup: Optimized for Single-Display / TV setups only.
  • Dynamic Canvas Detection**: Automatically pulls active display geometries.
  • Proportional Centering Slider**: A clean Zenity scale window (85% to 100%) dynamically shrinks your screen layout directly into the dead center of your TV, keeping taskbars and panels fully visible.
  • Persistent Boot Recovery**: Remembers your preference and re-applies it invisibly on startup via universal XDG autostart rules.
  • Zero Bloat Dependencies**: Relies natively on bash, xrandr, zenity, and bc.
