  • Thank you! For the past two years, I've been creating proxies without being limited by Adobe's restrictions in my video editing workflow. I always recommend this tool. It also makes downloading long YouTube videos easy. Thank you for making my work easier—this tool means a lot to me! By the way, I ended up writing this review on SourceForge because I originally tried to post it on Buy Me a Coffee. Unfortunately, the Stripe pop-up got stuck in a loading loop. On the second attempt, a CAPTCHA suddenly appeared inside the Stripe window, but it still didn’t load. Same issue on the third attempt and beyond. My IP is in Israel.

  • Great project, made my life way easier, I was not familiar with ffmpeg parameters and now I'm able to convert my whole video collection like a boss!, Thank you for your time building this software!
  • I leave here my suggestion to add support for the MV-HEVC encoder because with the launch of Apple Vision Pro the number of people who will need this encoder to adapt videos recorded in 2D to 3D will increase considerably.

Thanks, as soon as mv-hevc is supported by any ffmpeg build (gyan.dev), it will be supported in FFmpeg Batch too.
  • Excellent
  • Awesome project! This program has become an important part of my workflow to create thousands of proxy video files, works way better / is more flexible than using adobe media encoder. Obviously so much easier to use than typing lines of code into ffmpeg. I don't know if it's possible but I would benefit from being able to limit the CPU usage allocated to the encoding.

Thanks. You can already limit cpu usage at the bottom right corner selector.
  • This have save me times
  • Excellent program, a little bit of a learning curve when I first started using it, but I'm used to the way it works now, and I think it's one of the best FFmpeg converter GUIs I've ever used.
  • Thank you so much for this nice GUI. I think it's the most versatile ffmpeg GUI that I ever seen on the net. One question: would it be possible to add a NORMALIZE preset (audio and video), using loudnorm or an other ? (maybe it's a simple command line to add ?...) - Thanks a lot ! [edit] Sorry ! I just saw that you added this in the Wizard ! Fantastic ! Once again, thank you for this very usefull tool. Alex
  • This is such a wonderful piece of work. Thoroughly done in many ways. You can feel, that it is cone with love. And: it is fee. Its embarrassing to read the comment of this german idiot who is sillier than a piece of white breat - and who does not understand anything. No, after testing ffmpeg and a couple of converter GUIs I had simply had to write a review about this top tool!!!

  • This is a very powerful and well designed program. The power of ffmpeg in user friend GUI which is super easy to learn. A feature recommendation: I would like this to have a "folder watch" function, i.e. it would monitor a folder for new video files and then convert them. The output converted files should either be in another folder (preserving the subfolder hierarchy, or converted filenames having a suffix so that the program would recognize them and not convert the same files again. And preferably, instead of only checking the file names, compare the lengths of those video files to confirm the conversion had been successful.

Hi, thanks for the sugestión. It's good but somewhat a pro feature, a custom development I can't face with current project support. Best wishes Edit: Now available as a feature.
  • Better than Handbrake
  • Simple and straightforward. Huge thanks to the developer.
  • Good windows app..
Was bedeutet eigentlich "Sequential encoding" oder " Multi file encoding?".

I'm sorry man, if you can't understand some basic english settings like 'Browse" to select output folder for the conversion, or you don't like to try and experiment, or ask for help, then the best for you is to stick to easy and known applications. Maybe when translation into german is available, things are different. Es tut mir leid, Mann, wenn Sie einige grundlegende englische Einstellungen wie "Durchsuchen" nicht verstehen, um den Ausgabeordner für die Konvertierung auszuwählen, oder wenn Sie nicht experimentieren oder um Hilfe bitten möchten, dann ist das Beste für Sie an einfachen und bekannten Anwendungen festzuhalten. Vielleicht sind die Dinge anders, wenn eine Übersetzung ins Deutsche verfügbar ist.
  • I'm so happy that I discovered this encoder. Thank you so much for your work and effort on creating this great software. I would like to mention my suggestion about a feature that might be handy. I think It would be awesome if you make it possible that we could install/upgrade it through Winget(Windows Package Manager). Wish you the best!

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. In the meantime, you may obtain the latest version directly from there: https://github.com/eibol/ffmpeg_batch/releases/latest
  • This is a brilliant!! Thanks a million for providing a way to to batch encode to none geeks and CLI experts like me! I just tried the Portable version and in case I am not doing something wrong, it's not saving the new Preset I created. When I click the [Edit] button it's there, but when I [Save & Close] it's still not showing in the list. Will keep figuring out are report back what I find. Also I hope the below comment regarding libx265 is fixed as this is my target encode (CRF = 27). Thanks again!

Thanks a lot for your comment and your bug report, for next version 2.4.0 will be fixed, as well as other bugfixes.
  • I am very, very happy with your program - I like it very much and want to say "thank you"! Nevertheless I have to report a (still existing) bug with the "Wizard": >>choosing "lib265" for encoding and >> than "crf", those parameters (-crf <nn>) are not added to the parameters line (as it DOES work if using codec lib264 !). Another (maybe more personal ) point is the ease of use: While yout Program is highly functional in many aspects, it seem to me to be a little bit overdone in the general layout: too many knobs are always visible - which confuses (me) when starting to experiment with this fantastic tool. In my eyes this is distracting instead of keeping the focus on the next steps to be done - especially regarding the aim of this tool: making it easy for anyone to get around with the seemingly endless opportunities of FFMPEG! with very kind regards wosa

Hi, thanks for the input. I was not aware of the bug, I'll have it corrected for next release, as well as other minor bug removing presets. I agree that main window is somewhat overloaded, when I started developing application I was not aware of its potential capabilities. For that purpose I started the wizards approach. Cheers
  • Great for quick transcoding chores, and equally good for massive jobs. Support is quick and friendly. Highly recommend.
