Using the tool, students assess their own com-petencies rather than having the technology evaluate them. Thus, learners are provided with a check-list that implies information on typical misconceptions in the field of functions to examine their own solution to an open assessment task. Finally, they can work on various information units, practice or expand tasks according to their individual needs.
