Description

This software wants to be the Unix brother of Windows SpeedFan. Using the package lm-sensors it is able to monitor the system temperatures and the fan speeds and control them by easy commands. It's being planned to add a user GUI to be more friendly.

Looks promising, and the code is inspectable (in that one can look at the script when one has downloaded it) but it didn't work on my old Dell laptop and it doesn't seem that configuring the program - which it allows, via the terminal - is going to help. Also, apologies for the formatting of this review. I formatted it nicely but SourceForge took the formatting out.
