EvilTransform is a library for converting between geodetic coordinate systems, specifically WGS-84 (global Earth coordinate) and GCJ-02 (the “Mars” coordinate system used in Chinese mapping services). It provides functions to go from GCJ-02 to WGS-84, and vice versa, with variants including exact inversion. It is useful when dealing with map data in China, where many map providers apply coordinate obfuscation.
