Started as a custom version of CoffeeMUD, quickly grew into a near-complete rewrite instead. The codebase is largely tailored with a specific mud in mind, but still flexible enough to be customized further if there is interest.
Whereas CoffeeMUD focused on being highly adaptable to every common MUD format, EspressoMUD will be focused on being its own thing and doing what it does well.
