Epathology Information System (EPIS) is an Information System designed to automate the process of generation ,storage and retrieval of pathology lab reports for each patients online .For this purpose each patient will be registered with an accession No. and records for each individual patient will be maintained in a database. EPIS will provide services to medical diagnostic centers ,pathology labs and the doctors treating the patient. This system will be further enhanced at a later stage so as to give a direct access to patients pathology reports online through internet to any remote location ,providing all the necessary support to fulfill the needs of the doctors and other people working in health sectors, which will provide a great boon in diagnosing and treatment of diseases and sharing of Information
