Modify the Client and Server properties in the visual studio 2008 solution as follows: Click on Debugging select it the Configuration Dropdown All configurations. Under the Command section change the path to {yoursteam install path}\{username}\source sdk base 2007\hl2.exe , you can browse for it. Change the command arguments to -dev -sw -allowdebug -novid -game "{path to Steam}\steamapps\SourceMods\EmotivMod" this is the path to the actual mod files Change the Working directory to {path to steam install}\steamapps\{username}\source sdk base 2007 Once you do that copy the actual mod files in the second zip to {path to Steam install}\steamapps\SourceMods\ to launch the mod from within steam you will have to set the launch properties to -allowdebug some useful commands map - loads a map impulse 101 - gives you all the weapons
