This is a project to port the graphics program Embellish created at Dadaware by Joe Burkley. This is one of the best graphics apps ever created and just needs a little TLC to bring it up date for current operating systems.

User Reviews

  • I've been using this thing since it was called JView on OS/2. It is still the best -- bar none -- tool for merging one image into another, e.g. putting one person's face onto, say, an animal's body. It's ability to "feather" the edges where the images meet is unsurpassed. Photoshop doesn't come close. If for no other purpose, you need this tool in your box.
  • At the start, it works & file dialogs are fixed. :) For the future, Embellish definetly needs rules & grid & grid snapping.
