Dusklight is a free, open-source reimplementation of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess that brings the classic action-adventure game to modern PC and mobile platforms. Built through reverse engineering and based on the Twilight Princess decompilation project, Dusklight aims to faithfully recreate the original gameplay while introducing modern enhancements and customization options. The project supports original GameCube and Wii game data, allowing players to experience the adventure using files extracted from their own legally obtained copies. Dusklight takes advantage of modern graphics APIs, including Direct3D 12, Vulkan, and Metal, to provide compatibility with contemporary hardware and improved rendering capabilities. Players can benefit from fixes, enhancements, and additional tools designed to improve the experience while preserving the original game's mechanics and presentation.
