DroidDeck is an Android gaming environment designed to bring a SteamOS-like experience to supported handheld devices. It runs Valve's Steam client in Big Picture mode and uses an ARM64 Proton environment to launch Windows games. The project targets Android 9 or newer devices with supported Qualcomm Adreno GPUs and does not require root. Optional desktop components add Linux applications, emulators, Flatpak software, and AppImage support. GOG, Epic Games, and Amazon Games libraries can also be imported as non-Steam titles for Proton launching. Its Linux runtime combines compatibility, audio, input, and graphics components into one handheld-focused environment. Hardware compatibility varies substantially, especially outside newer Adreno devices.
