Before starting a setup installation, make sure you have updated your operating system with the latest fixes. You can get all required updates for your Windows operating system from windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

The Doom Builder 2 installation package contains all you need to get started making maps for Doom and all the derived sourceports. It is safe to install over an older version of Doom Builder 2 and you will not lose your settings. Do not install over a Doom Builder 1 directory.

System requirements:
 2.4 GHz CPU or faster. (Multi-core recommended)
 Windows XP, Vista or Seven.
 Your operating system must be up to date.
 Graphics card with Pixel Shader model 2.0.
