Unfortunately with windows 10 and xiaomi monitor, after the monitor is turned off for several seconds, it displays alert "no signal, your device will enter standby mode after .. seconds", and then monitor is turned back on to display standby login screen. However 5 stars for it's still useful for instant screensaver.

Works well with Windows 11 24H2 build 26100.2454! With > doff.exe /l /s Windows gets locked and screensaver is starting. MonitorES didn't work anymore with this feature. 4 stars only for missing a little GUI.

Dude! You rock!! My power button just went bad on my Dell 24" PC monitor and it's a bummer.... but this makes it all better. Most these utilities just do a full screen BLACK , but this actually puts the monitor in to power save mode... PERFECT. I just wiggle my mouse to bring it back up and Bob's my Uncle. ;-) I love lightweight bat files like this. I made a shortcut on my desktop, I click it and BOOM. Thanks!! DB

@lestor (see his review below and his request "make it possible not to awaken the screen when moving the mouse"): There is already a free tool (not sure if it's freeware) called "Sordum Monitor Off v1.1" that provides this feature.
