I have been using DSE quite extensively for digital rock discontinuity survey. The new version (v 3.0) has substantial improvements on the GUI and speed optimisation. Needless to say, DSE is widely recognised as the preferred package for automated discontinuity identification due to their high user-friendliness and ease of application as well as the high degree of accuracy in the results generated.
