Deep Code CLI

Deep Code CLI is an open-source terminal AI coding assistant optimized for DeepSeek models and compatible OpenAI-style endpoints. It can inspect projects, modify files, run commands, and assist with development directly from the command line. Thinking mode and configurable reasoning effort let users balance speed, cost, and depth for different tasks. Fine-grained permissions control whether shell commands, file access, writes, and network operations are allowed, denied, or require confirmation. Agent Skills and MCP integrations extend the assistant with reusable capabilities and external tools. Conversations can be resumed, forked, or restarted, while models and reasoning settings can be changed interactively. Configuration is shared with its VS Code companion, enabling a consistent workflow across terminal and editor environments.
