Talkie was initially created in HTML5, but then I converted it to GODOT in version 3.2.2 stable.
To compile:
download and extract GODOT, 3.2.2 (or higher)
download/extract talkie
Run GODOT
show GODOT where the folder is located that you extracted Talkie to.
Press the play button to run Talkie
OR use Project => Export... to export it however you like.
To use:
plug in a mic if you don't have one built in
run Talkie
move the slider to the left until his mouth opens
move the slider back slowly until it shuts
talk
use mouse to rotate Talkie.
Many streaming softwares (like OBS Studio) include a way to add an app as content source, just key out the blue background and crop off the slider at the bottom.
