MobileCubeAverage version 0.4 MobileCubeAverage, initially named CubeAverage/CubeAveCalc is a simplistic J2ME mobile application which simply computes speedcubing session average. It will install and run on most phones which has CLDC-1.1 configuration and MIDP-2.0 mobile profile. It has been tested to run on my own phone, Nokia N95. Since its 0.3 release it has options to compute for the three common session types - Average of 5 - Average of 12 - Mean of 3 How to use: - On the home screen, choose the type of session average you want to compute. - Input the times of your solves accordingly. Input should be in SS.HH or MM:SS.HH format, otherwise you won't be able to compute unless you correct the format of your input. - You can also input the value "DNF" (Did Not Finish) regardless of its case. Average of 5: WCA-style averageing. The most common cubing session average. The fastest and slowest time will be removed, and the remaining times will be averaged. If there is a DNF, it will be the slowest time. If there are two or more DNFs, the average is DNF. Average of 12: Same with average of 5, only with 12 solves. Mean of 3: Times are computed like normal average (sum of solves divided by 3). If there is one DNF, the average is automatically DNF.
