eInfrastructure & Data Service
About
This application let you store and backup data on several e-Infrastructures. Be aware that it’s still a preliminary version. It may contain some bugs and the look and feel can change in the future.
Features currently available: - upload and download data - delete data - folders creation - creation of Local and Grid storages
Future releases will allow you: - move data into folders - share data with other users in the Science Gateway
Installation
Before
In order to contact the GOCDB to retrieve the resource list for grid e-Infrastructure you need to install in the keystore of the application a certificate issued by CA (Certification Authority) recognised by the .. _IGTF: http://www.igtf.net . Corresponding CA certificates must be presents in the list of recognised CAs for the application server.
Additionally, in case you retrieve a grid proxy from an external service using SSL, you need to add the CA certificate in the application server.
IGTF's certificates e VO's files must be located at least in one of these paths:
- /etc/gridsecurity
- /USER_HOME/.globus
- $X509_CERT_DIR and $X509_VOMS_DIR
After
Once the application has been successfully deployed, go, as administrator, in the control panel, add an e-Infrastructure and make it enabled and default.
Compile the code
Copy the source in the portlet folder of liferay SDK (>= 6.1).
Add JSAGA library 0.9.17 (july snaphot) to the lib folder.
Build the service and run the deploy using ant (refer to Liferay Docs).
