this is a brief readme. This is meant to run on Win32 machines, although it should run under emulation for 64bit x86_64. This includes gcc 2.7.2.3 along with what I could cross build as era complete at the time. In the test directory I have: * allegro.312 Lib allegro for various games * catac3d catacomb 3d * dhyrst dhrystone benchmark * doom doom * hello simple hello world. * infocom 1987 based infocom interpreter * sb soundblaster demo * seal-1.07 seal audio library * system16 system 16 sega arcade emulator 0.8? * system16.052 system 16 sega arcade emulator 0.53 * timer timer demo * tradewars tradewars port I did from pascal to C * zlib-1.2.3 zlib compression run the env.cmd to setup your command prompt. the program 'msdos' is uses to run MS-DOS binaries on Win32, commandline only. The later versions are having issues with infocom for some reason. http://takeda-toshiya.my.coocan.jp/msdos/index.html You should look for newer versions of this, if possible. https://sourceforge.net/projects/crossdjgppv2/ I also threw in the latest SVN of dosbox. I'm using Visual Studio 2003 to compile it.
