CoSeMa V5.2 Version Notes for sercos III 2011-05-26 This document describes the differences between the functionalities of the CoSeMa versions 05V2 and 04V1.4. Requirements - CoSeMa version 5V2 supports slaves in accordance with the sercos III specification V1.1.1 & V1.1.2: Basic classification SCP_VarCFG and SCP_FixCFG, connection-oriented configuration, remote address assignment, redundancy and HotPlug - Required sercos III IP core is SERCON100M (version V4.) 1.3. Enhancements The following enhancements were implemented in this version: - Calculation formula for the Inter Frame Gap implemented - API interface to operate the FPGA watchdog - MTU adjusted to the width of the NRT channel - Port-related timer for NRT channel implemented - New structure for connection configuration made available - New structure for connection configuration integrated - Validation check of the configured connections - Parser for connection configuration in CCBin format - API interface made available for system time handling - Hardware-supported copying of CC connections - New copying mechanism made available for cyclic data - DMA modifications integrated in CoSeMa
