Container Training

Container Training is an open educational repository containing slides, labs, scripts, and sample applications for learning Docker and Kubernetes. It supports both instructor-led workshops and self-paced study with little assumed prior container knowledge. Course material includes Docker fundamentals, Docker Swarm orchestration, and Kubernetes orchestration. A sample microservices application called DockerCoins is used to demonstrate deployment, scaling, networking, load balancing, and updates. Advanced chapters cover topics such as logging, metrics, secrets, security, and health checks. The repository also provides the source and publishing pipeline used to generate the public training slide decks.
