This folder contains CMUSphinx US English generic acoustic model, the most accurate model available for now. The model is provided in several variations, the continuous models (without -ptm in name) are for server environment and provide best accuracy though a bit large in size. PTM models are for mobile and resource-constrained environment. They are best to balance between speed and accuracy. To use this model for large vocabulary speech recognition download also CMUDict and US English generic language model.
