# ClickMyMouse

An automatic mouse clicker with motion detection. The program monitors a chosen area of the screen, and when no movement has been detected for a specified period, it automatically performs random clicks within another chosen area.

## Features

- **Motion detection** — monitors a chosen screen area using screenshots and OpenCV.
- **Automatic clicks** — performs clicks at random positions within a chosen area.
- **Random intervals** — the click interval is picked randomly between a minimum and maximum value.
- **Inactivity timer** — how long the screen must be still before clicking begins.
- **Drag-to-select areas** — mark the monitor and click areas by dragging a rectangle directly on screen.
- **Modern dark theme** — Catppuccin-inspired design.
- **Live status** — real-time countdown for both inactivity time and next click.

How to Use
1. Set the Monitor Area
Click Set Monitor Area. The screen darkens and you can now drag a rectangle with the mouse over the area you want to monitor for motion (e.g. a video player, a game, or an animation loop).

Drag from the top-left corner to the bottom-right.

The size is shown live in the corner of the selection.

Press ESC to cancel.

2. Set the Click Area
Click Set Click Area. Drag a rectangle over the area where you want clicks to occur (e.g. a "play" button or a field on the screen).

3. Adjust Settings
Setting	Description
Min Time (s)	Minimum number of seconds between clicks.
Max Time (s)	Maximum number of seconds between clicks.
Inactive Time (s)	How long there must be no motion before the click series begins.
4. Start
Click Start. The program's status is displayed in the Status section:

Inactive Countdown — countdown until the click series begins (when there is no motion).

Random Countdown — countdown until the next click (when the click series is active).

Status — current state or last action.

5. Stop
Click Stop to end. The program's timers stop immediately.

How It Works
The program continuously captures screenshots of the Monitor Area.

The screenshots are compared with cv2.absdiff to detect motion.

If there has been no motion for Inactive Time seconds, a click series begins.

A random number between Min Time and Max Time determines how long to wait before the next click.

When the time expires, the mouse moves to a random position within the Click Area and clicks.

If motion is detected again, the inactivity timer is reset.

Troubleshooting
Problem	Solution
"Error: Monitor area not set"	First mark the Monitor Area with Set Monitor Area.
"Error: Click area not set"	First mark the Click Area with Set Click Area.
No clicks occur	Make sure Min Time and Max Time are set to reasonable values, and that the mouse is not blocked by another application.
Motion is not detected	Mark an area with visible motion. The program uses pixel-difference — solid-colored areas produce no motion.
Program is unresponsive	Make sure all dependencies are installed and that Python has the necessary permissions.
