claudish-to-english is a Claude Code plugin that rewrites assistant responses into clearer, more natural language for display. The rewrite can run locally through Ollama or use Codex, Anthropic, or OpenAI-compatible providers. Claude's original response and saved conversation remain unchanged because only the displayed version is transformed. The plugin can preserve the language already being used instead of forcing every response into English. An optional hook can also simplify Markdown files when they are created or edited. Its fail-open design automatically shows the original content whenever the rewriting model, dependency, or provider is unavailable.
