This Windows command line utility makes it easier to navigate through complex directory structures, providing a version of the CD/CHDIR command which pattern-matches partially specified path names.
No formal installation is required. There are two files: G.bat and cmdGO.exe, which should be copied to a directory in your execution path.
Once installed, type g /? for help.
Features
- Find directory containing file: g *=filename
- Find tree by first letters: g .cmis (codeview\mingw\include\sys)
- Cycle through all matching directories: g xxxx/n
- Trace the search: g xxxx/t
