Charly IP TV Recorder

is a GUI based recorder for IP TV like A1 TV.

Installation:
copy tarball into ~/CharlyIPTVRecorder directory. If it does  not exist create it using
mkdir ~/CharlyIPTVRecorder

Extract tarball
tar -xvf charlyIPTVRecorderV0.tar *

Compile charly using
make

further create the directory ~/.charly
mkdir ~/.charly

get the channel list of your IP TV provider. And copy it into the ~/.charly directory. Then rename the channel list file into udp_TV-Senderliste_Basis.vlc
mv yourchannellist.vlc udp_TV-Senderliste_Basis.vlc

For A1 TV you find the actual channel list under the link: http://www.aontv.org/w/images/5/59/A1_Kabel_TV-Senderlisten.zip Unzip the file in the directory ~/.charly
wget http://www.aontv.org/w/images/5/59/A1_Kabel_TV-Senderlisten.zip
unzip A1_Kabel_TV-Senderlisten.zip

Now you are ready to run Charly IP TV Recorder. Start it using
~/CharlyIPTVRecorder/charly

vlc must be installed so that Charly IP TV Recorder is able to work.
