Dear Maintainers, First, I'd like to thank you for packaging libcasefix for your distro. Thank You! Second, an important note: For a libcasefix package, do this: make as root: make install For a libcasefix-static package, do this make staticlibarchive as root: if you actually want to install a static version of the library: make installstaticlibarchive users should be advised that a libcasefix package is preferable to a libcasefix-static package and that a libcasefix-static package is only for developers that don't want to make there app depend on the shared library and would rather include the library directly into their app. I would suggest not making a libcasefix-static package. I am not up on tex/latex/texi or any mark up used in the man or info systems, so off the rack man pages are not yet available at this time. However, I have made a libcasefix Programmer's Reference Guide, which might be used in making man pages for the functions; feel free to use the pages of the libcasefix Programmer's Reference Guide. Please send me a copies and it will be very appreciated. I will install them on my own system, and you will be given due credit for your contribution, if you wish. Also, I consider libcasefix package maintainers to be casefix project members. If you like send me your name, distro and the e-mail you use for package maintainance purposes and I will include that information on the casefix project team list, if you like. Whether you wish to be mentioned as being on the casefix project members list or not, please send at least an e-mail with your e-mail address to: so that you can receive timely notification of casefix updates and other developments. If there is any other thing that I can help you with, let me know. Send e-mail to: casefixproject@gmail.com Sincere Thanks, Jerry
