- Answer Claude Code's permission prompts with a button. When a session you started in Caprock asks before running a command or editing a file, its page shows the command or file with Yes, Claude Code's own second option (don't ask again, allow all edits this session) and No — on the phone and on the machine. Claude Code sessions only; Codex and OpenCode prompts are still answered from the keys bar. Uses a new hook, so the dashboard asks once to install it.
- Attach a photo from the phone. Photo beside the phone's terminal input takes a picture or picks one from the library, shrinks it to 2048 px and types its path into the session.
- Phone alerts through your own Telegram bot, free. Settings → Phone alerts sends a message when a session is waiting for approval (at once) or has finished (after a minute with nothing new) — every Claude Code session on the machine, each kind with its own switch, both on once a bot is set up. A message names the project, what happened and the agent, with a link to the session when phone access is on; never code, prompts, replies, file names or commands. One message per question, at most one of a kind per session every three minutes and 20 an hour. Send a test alert checks the bot. The bot is set up in Settings now, so it no longer needs the weekly report's licence.
- Now says when a session is waiting for approval. A session at a permission dialog — any session, not only Caprock's — reads waiting for approval with the call it asks about and the waiting on you badge, instead of looking busy.
- Caprock on your phone's home screen. Add it from Safari or Chrome and it opens full-screen with its own icon, in your theme, clear of the notch and the home bar. On an iPhone the home-screen app pairs once more — type the code, since a scan opens Safari — and shows up as "iPhone · home screen".
Fixed
- A paired phone opens Week, At a glance and the tool drill-down. They were left out of what a paired device may read and answered 403; the drill's Premium half stays gated as on the machine.
- "Hooks need an update" when only some are missing. After an upgrade adds a hook event, Now said Hooks not installed for one missing event; it now says the hooks need an update, with an Update hooks button.
- Codex edits count as edits in What it went on. Codex runs its tools
through one
execwrapper, so every patch it applied counted as a command. Each call is now placed by the tool it actually ran — a patch is an edit, a web search is web — including calls already stored. On one machine 30-day editing went from 0.4% to 4.8% of spend. The Tools drill-down forexecgroups by the command or tool inside the script instead of showing almost every call asconst. caprock service installno longer leaves the daemon stopped on macOS. It booted the old service out and bootstrapped the new one at once; launchd was still tearing the old one down, the bootstrap failed with "5: Input/output error", and nothing was running. It now waits for the old one to go and retries briefly.- "/" is no longer offered as a recent project. The New session picker
leaves out the filesystem root, your home directory and the temp directory
itself, so something on the machine running
claudefrom "/" every few minutes no longer sits at the top of the list. Folders inside them are offered as before. - No more "handoff lookup failed … context canceled" in the log. A session opening in "/", your home directory or the temp directory gets no handoff and runs no lookup. The lookup itself now skips other projects' passages on the index instead of reading each one: a project with nothing to hand over took 4-6 s on a 1.2 GB database, longer than Claude Code waits for the hook, and now takes under 0.1 s.
- The share dialog's all-time card is ready when you open it. The daemon works out the all-time and 30-day Weeks when it starts, and reads the tool calls behind them in parallel slices: all time went from 5.0 s to 1.9 s on a copy of a 1.2 GB database, with the same figures.
- A long command no longer pushes a session page sideways on a phone.
waiting for approval — running
…(or running…) with a long unbroken path or file name was wider than a 320–360 px screen, so the whole page scrolled sideways. It now wraps.
