Added
- Caprock now sees what a Gemini session does. It could start one and then observe nothing: a live session sat in the list with zero turns, zero tokens and no cost. Gemini has no hooks and writes no transcript, but it does write OpenTelemetry, and it will write it to a file Caprock names — so a spawned session now reports its turns, its tokens and its cost like any other.
The file is per-session, named by the session id, and lives in Caprock's own data directory rather than in your project, where it would be something to gitignore. Prompts are switched off in it: what you typed is on screen in the terminal already, and a second copy on disk is one nobody asked for.
Cache writes stay at zero for Gemini. It reports what it read from cache and has no equivalent of Claude's cache-write figure, and a column that means "we do not know" is better empty than filled with a guess.
Fixed
- Two of the three Gemini models still could not be used. The list was
checked against the installed CLI and the pricing table, and both said these
were fine. A real key says otherwise: Google has closed
gemini-2.5-flash-liteto new keys, andgemini-3.1-pro-previewis barred on a free key by quota (generate_content_free_tier_input_token_count, limit: 0) — so picking either opened a terminal and then failed.
The three offered now each answered a real prompt on a real key, and are priced. This is the third pass over one short list: written from memory, then checked against the CLI bundle, and only the live call was right.
