CapivaraOS is a family of Fedora-based Linux distributions built for developers: secure by default, with local AI and a full dev environment ready at first boot.
Series 2 runs on Fedora 45, in three desktop editions sharing the same base and identity:
* Marsh - KDE Plasma 6.8, the flagship
* Pup - Xfce 4.20, light and fast
* Snout - GNOME 51, clean and focused
From Series 2 on, upgrades happen in place - version to version, series to series. No reinstall. Our package repository is signed, so upgrades are verified like any other update, and Snapper snapshots the system first.
Every ISO ships with its SHA-256 and an OpenPGP signature of that checksum, so you can prove the file is ours.
Herd, the hardened server edition, is part of the family.
