Usually professional tools like Vector, Softing, ETAS or DSPACE are used to log the CAN bus traffic in a vehicle or industrial setup. In some usecases, the data have to be converted to some other analysis tools like MatLab, Excel, SCILab or some free MatLab clones.
With this cheap Arduino-based setup, it is possible to define messages and signals to be logged on the SD card. The measurement can be started and stopped by Bluetooth connection via handy.
