Release Notes for CAM version 3.1.1

The MindMap processing has been updated. Corrected in this maintenance release is handling for CAM dictionary to MindMap file processing on Microsoft Windows. Also annotation labelling to ensure custom annotation notes for Added and Changed are displayed in the MindMap.
The custom annotations now also correctly appear in the Tabular Documentation report and other reports providing annotations handling.
Release Notes for CAM version 3.1

The focus for this release is enhancements, bug fixes and performance improvements for both the CAM editor and CAMV validation engine. The XSD schema importing has been improved particularly for complex schema using xsd:extension techniques. This applies to HL7, W3C GML and OAGi BOD schema along with NIEM schema. Importing of schema annotations is faster and cleaner also. In addition the Open-XDX engine bi-directional support for open data with SQL table access and update processing has been improved for multi-table updating parent/child relationships with Oracle and MySQL databases. The release is the last in the Delano series.
In summary the new CAM Editor V3.1 provides the following improved functionality:
o Enhanced XSD schema importing especially for HL7, GML, OAGi and NIEM complexities
o New UTF-8 handling to improve international support in elements and annotations
o Editor entry of annotations improved and enhanced
o Better XML example generating details (choice items, negative numbers and repeat limits)
o Improved xsd:annotations handling during import processing (faster + suppress duplicates)
o Improved bi-directional data processing using Open-XDX for open data query and update
o Feature and bug fixes for the CAMV rules engine
o CAMV now allows mixed content for validation

The CAMEditor v3.1 comes in 32bit and 64bit versions - please pick the package / installer for your system
*Note: on Windows 7 you might need to set the property in the shortcut - "Run as Administrator"
to obtain write access to the install folder (e.g. if you install to the default ~/Program Files folder).
