This is a bug fix maintenance release. Summary of main items corrected include: in SQL designer drag and drop NIEM name handling; dictionary restrictValues() for old and new value lists formats; update to XSD appinfo tags handling; improvements to Open-XDX engine.
Release Notes for CAM version 2.4
---------------------------------
The focus for this release is improved collaboration support including better dictionary generation, models, reports, spreadsheets and enhancement of the rules entry tools and rules processing. New in this release is support for Italian language localization. The release contains significant enhancements and improvements and it is the first in the Delano series.
In summary the new CAM Editor V2.4 provides the following improved functionality:
o All new XPath rules entry Wizard tool
o Significantly enhanced Dictionary generation
o Collaboration support including Oracle Enterprise Repository (OER) and URL locations
o Better dictionary collection and database connections management
o Enhanced Mindmap model generating
o XML export format for Tabular Report View
o Italian language localization
o CAMV rules engine improvements
o New spreadsheet handling utilities
o More consistent NIEM NDR evaluation

The CAMEditor v2.4 comes in 32bit and 64bit versions - please pick the package / installer for your system
*Note: on Windows 7 you might need to set the property in the shortcut - "Run as Administrator"
to obtain write access to the install folder (e.g. if you install to the default ~/Program Files folder).
