Release Notes for CAM version 2.3.1 This is bug fix and enhancement release. Improvements to the user interface rule wizards, SQL drag and drop designer and important improved handling of empty, optional and null data elements logic for the SQL to XML generation tools. The CAMEditor v2.3.1 comes in 32bit and 64bit versions - please pick the package / installer for your system *Note on Windows 7 you maybe need to set the property in the shortcut - Run as Administrator (if you install to ~/Program Files folder) to obtain write access to the install folder. Release Notes for CAM version 2.3 This release contains significant enhancements and improvements and new features, particularly the database browser tool and open data generation capabilities. This release introduces the new Open-XDX component that works with the CAM templates and SQL data mappings. The CAM Editor version 2.3 provides XML developers with dramatically improved capabilities for building comprehensive XML exchanges rapidly and easily. With drag and drop for both database mapping and XML designer tools from SQL data stores via a JDBC connection this makes it simple to build fully functioning XML output in minutes. Then deploy via the Open-XDX component and web services. A Quick Guide booklet is available from the CAMEditor.org resource site, along with a five minute introductory video.
