The aim of this research is to develop a novel sound insulation rendering framework using the knowledge of insulation metrics and filter rendering network for a physically realistic auralization for sound transmission in complex architectural structures. It is planned to create a psychoacoustic test environment which goes beyond the tradition methods, where the test subjects are embedded in virtual reality environment laboratory conditions.
A new test paradigms will be designed, for real-time implementation of interactive insulation auralization and a perceptual evaluation platform in order to correctly evaluate the noise components of such architectural environments and to conduct psychoacoustic experiments with realism in virtual reality for more realism and more contextual features
